Whee~~~~just got back from my kickboxing..sprained my leg once again =/ . Anyway, just wanna update you guys on what we had did in Batam.

Day 1, 23.06.05

I'm supposed to meet Qi @ Jurong East Control Station at 8.45am. I was slightly late but guess what? Qi claimed that she just woke up when I called her. Thus, we are late in meeting Seng, Cin and Amin,aka Peacefool. Amin, a stranger at first as I don't really know him except through a few games we had in Gunbound. But soon we become friends (hope it's mutual feelings) through the trip to Batam. A very nice guy, I must say. He got take care of us and teach us a very fun card game and have a wacky sense of humor at times.

Anyway, we have a great time on the ferry, not to mention the malu time. There's two girls (not me ! =p) screamed and LOL when the ferry starts sailing. Real LOL, i mean. Then I guessed Seng and Amin are abit paiseh that Seng, I think, tried to feign that he don't know us. The ferry journey is quite fast, less than 45min I think. However, the road journey to our resort, Batam View is super long. Around an hour I think.

Throughout the journey, we saw some frightening scenes. For instance, we saw packs of people passing by our vans, wearing shirts, holding flags and some even have their faces painted in white and black! Vroom~~Vroomm~~ soo many people are involved. Then we realised there's an election going on; they are looking for a governer to rule the island. And 4 ppl on a motorbike is a common scene.

After travelling for a long long time, when I'm getting sleepy already, the driver finally stopped the van. And we arrived at Turi Resort!!! =.="" The wrong resort!!!! But somehow Seng still go and check in, and the rest of us are like "Ohh....wrong resort also nvm" and continued with our welcome drinks which the staff served us, not to mention some snappings ^^v. In the end really the wrong resort so the driver came back to fetch us to the correct one.

When we reached Batam View, it's already 1pm, Batam time (it's an hour slower than Singapore time). We had our lunches @ the resort coffee shop and it's super expensive. S$8 for a Nasi Goreng, Fried Kuay Teow and Laska =[ .

After lunch, it's the BEACH time (finally i touched on the interesting part, if u mean this, CIN >.< )....but.......to be continued. Wahahahhaa,type too long already so wanna gb le.
