What can a group of women talk about during lunch?? News? Current affairs? Well, sometimes we do chat about that. After all we women are not that ignorant XD. Anyway, most of the small chats will evolve around korean dramas, shopping, food and MAN. Today is a topic on MAN again.
My lovely colleagues are thinking of how wonderful it is to reverse the normal norm of man being the main breadwinner and woman's role as a housewife....How wonderful it will be for wife to work and leave all the household chores to husband....Well, all I can say is they love to daydream =X
Anyway, some of them are saying if they are earning a huge income that is more than enough to support the family, they will ask their husbands to quit their jobs and stay at home to attend to household chores and take care of children. However, one of my colleagues think that even if wife earns alot more than husband, husband should have a job. If a man is living off his wife, he is branded as a useless and worthless. Hmm...what do you guys think?
Personally, I very mind if my husband work as a 'housewife' only =X Although it's the 20th century and man and woman sort of shared the same status in the society, I still think that it's man duties to take care of his family. Financially is the key word here =X Ok lah...I'm old-fashioned T.T
P/S: most (98%) of the time I only act as an audience nia. Don't think I'm really that 38 =XXX

Recently I'm on fire....HEATY fire T.T Now my mouth is inhabited with lotsa ulcers and it's affecting my throat too. It's one of those rare times that you will find me gentle and quiet cos it hurts even when I swallow saliva. Jeez >< !Thus, I don't feel like talking most of the times and I can't even raise my voice. I feel irritated easily because of my painful mouth yet I cannot yell at people. Miserable T.T Luckily it got better after I use an antibacterial mouthwash which claims to relieve mouth ulcers and sore throats. However, after use it will leave a funny taste on your tongue. It's like...funny plain water....funny milo....everything taste funny and it take more than 12hrs to wear off. Guess one can't has the best of both worlds ><
Went to watch Pirates of the Carribean and I missed the front part of the show T.T Anyway,as many have suggested, it is a funny and enjoyable show. However, I buay tahan them sooo dirty and those monsters are really gross and ugly. So eeeeeeeeee. Nevertheless, my friend and I followed fann's advice and sat through the credits of the show. There are quite a number of people staying through the credits too but after the credits, everyone is like "what the......." -_-! LOL =X

oh ya...i forget to mention about the call from China. I got to learn that my colleague A and colleague B + her husband also received similar calls like mine from China too. It's the same number too. All of us are Singtel 3G users..using the same handphone model. Think it's some kind of fraud so you guys just reject the call when you see one. If not you still need to pay for the idd charges for this kind of lame call.

It's another lazy afternoon. Had lunch with Qiqi a few hours and hey, I'm her first friend to witness her new REVISED hairstyle =X. Revised?!? Well, she said she went back to to salon to make her bad hair look better so I didn't managed to see the real awful one she is saying about. However, according to her, the bad one look like my misty=/ (my maple char). My misty looks cute ok ><
Recently, my colleagues have been blahhing how tough is it...being a woman. Womem have alot alot thing to take care of. For instance, one of them might die this weekend...on an iron board.; Iron too much clothes to death =X So cham~
According to them, women have to take good care of her family and run the family well. This mean rushing home from work and cook meals for family, doing housework and tolerate whatever nosense from your in-laws at times. The latter is of a bigger challenge though. Cooking and household chores can be taken care by maid, if you can afford. And according to them....the WORST being a woman is to get pregnant and bear children. After the baby pops out, you still need to 'shrink' yourself back. If not, husband might run away -_-!
After hearing all these, it seem like being a married woman sound really cham...that's why moms are so great. So every guy out there, please take care of the ladies ya XD

More food =X...... 1 thing I don't like about Hongkong food is that we are paying for the portion as well. Look alot hor? Well, I can't finish most of my meals in Hongkong cos the portion is really alot. Can't the reduce the size and make it cheaper??

I just reached home and decided to blog while I'm waiting for Bleach to load on youtube. Bleach?!? Well yes, due to Qi's highly recommendation, I'm totally hooked up with this anime. Even Zy said it's a nice one. Thus, I have been chionging Bleach these few days and it really hurt my eyes for watching so much at a go. And sometimes it really scared me that I can't find some episodes in youtube or the video refused to play even though it's completed loaded. Luckily someone with the same problem as me posted a comment on this and this problem can be resolved by clearing your browser cache. Phew~~
Anyway,today began with a weird start..well,in my opinion. There's a missed call messenge on my handphone and guess what? It's a overseas call in 3am++ in the morning. I'm kinda puzzled that who it might be cos despite I have some friends in overseas but I doubt anyone would call me in 3am in the morning. Really doink! However, when I traced back the country code, I found out it's actually a call from China -_-! and I don't have any friends in China leh... Funny wor...so I think it's a wrong number. What an expensive wrong number call =X !
Today I went KTV with Ah Baw and Fern Fern. I must said it's truly an enjoyable singing session. Sang lotsa crazy (super high) songs and it's really a good way to destress. I hasn't seen them in months and it's definitely a good time to catch up. However, this Fern Fern kept 'pouring salt on my wound' by asking me why I so free?? Single of coz free lah >"< Then this Ah Baw kept asking me to go on a vacation trip with her and her friends...claiming there's alot of single and available guys. Doinkness =X
After singing, we went to JP. I saw some pretty nice clothes @ Pepper Plus but I must control and control. I has overspent for these past 2 months so I must start to be more thrifty . I must avoid on spending on clothes,shoes,bags and accessories but entertainment wise...kinda hard to control =XXX I planned to watch Pirate of the Carribean and The Lake House but don't know nice anot. Anyone knows?
Hmmm...enough of crapping...off to more Bleach again XD....

Next time when I go on a shopping trip overseas, I must
1. Bring a super duper big luggage. One and for all. Hate to hand carry so many stuff on board, especially when I nearly got hitten by a falling luggage which a passenger is trying hard to stuff into the storage cabin. Ermm...it's did hit my left hand though.... =/
2. Wear a super duper comfortable shoes with good cushioning. I changed 3 pairs of sandals and shoes on this trip and all come back to 1 result---LEGS DAM PAIN =/ Blisters on my foot and toes...imagine how pain is that? PAIN!
3. Don't deceive myself that I'm not a shopping queen =X cos apparently I am one. Ha! Thus, it's better for me to change alittle bit more money..just in case!
I think that's about all at the moment. Time to get back to work~~ Oh ya, I wanna say Thank You to Chester's sisters too...for fetching us at the airport ^^

Finally I have the urge to blog again. I’m too excited about my Hong Kong trip that I couldn’t sleep even I’m sooo tired @ 2am yesterday. Flashes of my Hong Kong trip kept replaying in my mind thus I have made up my mind to blog today. I’ve changed a new look for my blog and wanna thanks Zy for helping me to fix my coding. According to him there’s a lot of errors =/ Xie xie Zy ^^/~
For those who don't know, I went to Hong Kong for these past 4 days. Together with Xin and Chester, we started our voyage on a ‘romantic’ day 7th July (it’s a special day in lunar calendar) early in the morning @ 7am. It’s really nice of Xin’s sister to give us a ride to the airport early in the morning on a working day. Thanks to Xin’s sister too ^^
On the flight to Hong Kong there’s an irritating uncle sitting right in front of me. He loves to adjust his seat to and fro and it’s kinda annoying. The most annoying part is he pulled his seat soooo low that it made me my space more cramp and it’s kinda hard for me to get out of my seat when I wanna go toilet. For heaven’s sake, please spare a thought for those people sitting behind you. It doesn’t affect you doesn’t mean that it doesn’t affect others -.- I watched Failure to Launch on board and I find it quite nice. Kinda funny too.
After dumping our luggage at hotel, we went to hunt for a restaurant which I’m dying to eat since my last Hong Kong trip—Curry A La King. The curry is fantastic! Xin xin ordered a Curry Udon, Chester a Curry Prawn and me a Pakistan Curry. Mine is extreme hot but tasty, Xin’s one is kinda unique, not something you have eat before and Chester’s one is super nice~~~Big prawns with spicy sweet curry. Yummy~~ I just love it!
Basically we spent a lot of time shopping in Mongkok. Picked some really good deals at Ladies’ Street (considered good at that moment but later we discovered we can get it at better rates at Fa Yuen Street), Fa Yuen Street, Aylre Centre (not sure of the spelling =X), Allied Centre etc. I don’t really like the latter cos the stuff there is more expensive. Most denims skirts and pants and tops and blouses I bought are less than SGD 15. Some are even less than $10. Really shop till you drop and pok.
We also went to Sha Tian whereby tourists usually don’t go but DON’T give it a miss. We went to New Town Plaza over there and most sports stuff over there is even cheaper than those of Fa Yuen Street. Due to time constraint, we didn’t even manage to cover 1/4 of the plaza, despite we spent more than 5hours over there. I got a Roxy bag which I like it soo much and 2 pairs of Roxy slippers. Roxy’s and Quiksliver’s slippers are less than SGD20 (for simple design) which personally I think is dam cheap. I met Xinxin’s Hongkong friends too. They are really nice and even gave us a welcoming treat at a Chinese restaurant. Dim sum is very nice over there too.
We also went to Lantau Island to visit the Buddha. Although I’m not that religious, it’s an interesting place to visit. Sceneries are good and it’s so amazing that we travelled that far up to the mountain. Really =_-!!!
We watched World Cup Final in the hotel too but I only watched 3/4 of it before I fell asleep. But still, I better than Xin cos I think she only watched 1/10 of the match. Kekeke…
On the whole, it’s definitely a satisfying and enjoyable trip. Hereby I wanna thanks Xinxin and Chester as they are really good travel and shopping companions ^^/ Cheers to our good harvest XD.
