Yoyo people~ I’m back!!

It was a tiring trip but nevertheless, it was fun.

We set off on Thursday night from Boon Lay. We were stuck in the traffic jam for an hour or so and reached Genting at around 4am+. I think I managed to doze off a couple of times, though for a short period of time, while travelling. It was foggy and freaking cold when we arrived.

We were told we could only check in at 3pm, which most of us ‘fainted’ upon hearing the news. Hence, in order to speed up the check in process, queue numbers are
distributed. A lot of people were queuing at the hotel lobby when we reached. We rested at the hotel’s café while waiting for the queue number. We had some EXPENSIVE coffee and Milo (16 cups in total) and fruit tarts (6 nos.) which sum up to an amount of RM100++. The coffee costs around SGD7 and the milo costs around SGD6.

Faint~

Luckily the hotel brought forward the check in time to 1pm if not we will be more
-__-!!.

The people~

After that we had McDonalds’ breakfasts and it’s very expensive too. It’s about SGD10 per set. What’s more the burger is smaller. After breakfast it’s play time. We made a trip to the casino first to see see. Then we went to the theme park.
The view~

I tried a lot of rides and I even got a sun burnt face in the process! I didn’t know that the sun light will be so strong despite the cold weather.Go-cart. Quite fun but the helmet provided is damn smelly. I think it’s the smell is accumulated over the years from millions of heads. Yucks!!!

The rollercoaster-Corkscrew. Looks and sounds (a lot of people screaming) exciting but in actual fact, no kick for me =/.

This is the only ride I felt scared upon looking at it nia. I have tried once in Hong Kong and it’s really quite terrifying. However, I’m mentally prepared this time round and thus, I’m not as frightened as before. I’m the one in green shirt=X.
My colleagues tried this and are highly recommended by them. I was queuing for it for a long time and when it’s finally my turn, guess what happened?
It rained!!!!!! Faint loh. I queued for at least 30minutes there. Grrrrrrrr….Poor people got caught in the rain.It became very hazy when it rains.

Some more photos...didn't take much photos in Genting.

We set off to Malacca the next morning and reached around 1.30pm. I guessed we are very happy with our hotel-Equatorial Hotel. We didn't know it's a 5 stars hotel until we were told by the staff while checking in. It's a pretty hotel with situated at a good location. Tourist attraction places and shopping malls are nearby.

The hotel lobby~

My room!! Pretty big hor. It's actually a suite room and I'm so lucky to pick the door key to it. Only two of the rooms we had are suite rooms and the rest are standard rooms.
The view from our room balcony~
This is a new experience for me!! Having newspaper at my doorstep in a hotel is definitely new to me. Hmm... think mostly I stay in 3 stars hotels bah T.T

After check in, we had the famous chicken rice as lunch. That round round ball is not fishball hor. It's chicken rice ball xD.

Malacca is a nice place for photo taking and we did take alot of photographs. It's so much that makes me headache while blogging. Right now I pretty sian already so I chop chop bah.
My colleague was trying to be fun :X.
Randoms photographs taken in Malacca. I know it's kinda small but I'm lazy to blog one by one. Will update again when I have the mood =X. It's late already. Time to retire to bed. Oyasuminasai~

I think I will have a real ‘fun’ jamming at the custom tonight.

Why?

Well, I am going to Genting tonight, together with my colleagues. It’s our company trip-3D2N Genting and Malacca. Although it will be my first time there, my feeling is lukewarm. The thought of trapping at the customs for hours on a coach certainly did not thrill me much.

First of all, I cannot sit still on a spot for long, especially without any form of entertainment. Hence, I dislike budget airlines. Despite the fact there’s not form of entertainment on board, the seats are also cramped and uncomfortable. On top of that, the luggage limit cannot accompanied with my trophies=X.
Thus, I think it will be worse on a coach bah =/. Just hope that the jam would not be that bad.

I will update on my trip if I manages to take some nice shots. My current camera cannot make it already. I charged its batteries for a day (I forgot to switch off before I went to work) and when I put the batteries it, it only reflects half bar. Hence, I don’t know how many photos I can take before it dies on me. I probably have to charge its batteries every night =/.

Yes…it’s time to get a new camera. I have been researching on digital cameras for the past weeks and poor Xinxin is constantly bugged by me=X. Xinxin is planning to get a DSLR camera. I’m planning to get a compact camera that can function well in low-light condition.

Here are some cameras which I’m interested in.
1. Nikon Coolpix S600
2. Fuji Finepix F40fd or F50fd or F100fd

Nikon is one of the big major leaders in cameras, other than Canon. They are exceptionally good in their DSLR but I’m not so sure about their P&S. You seldom see people recommending Nikon P&S. As S600 is just launched recently, there are not many comprehensive reviews around. However, its specifications certainly look decent and it has a pretty appearance.

Fujifilm cameras are famous for their super CCD sensors, which allow its cameras to take good photographs in low light condition. Personally, I think its cameras are value for money. For the same amount of money, you could get a higher megapixel camera for Fujifilm. I think the price of S600 is about the same of F50fd. However, S600 is a 10 megapixel camera whereas the latter is 12megapixel. The only down side, for me, is that it is not very compact. It’s still considered as a compact camera but it is slightly bigger than the rest. Maybe it’s not a big problem bah…have to see the actual product first.

Recommendations and advices are welcome=).

Celebrated Cin's 24th birthday yesterday at Ikoi Japanese Restaurant, Hotel Miramar. It's japanese buffet style @ $33+++ per pax.

Cin with her birthday cake which Gan bought for her. Yummy chocolate banana cake~

The surroundings of the VIP room.

These are the few food pictures which I took.I think the food so-so lah. I think its sushi, nigiri and temaki variety is not as wide as Sakae's. The tofu is not nice too.
On the other hand, its paperpot is very nice!! Makis are good too. Sashimi look good too, even though I didn't eat. Tempura not bad. I ate alot of edamame too..it's one of my favourite.

Half of the crowd. =X I didn't take any photo for the other half=XX.

Bascially we just spent our time chit-chatting, eating, laughing and photo-snapping. Pretty much like the typical gathering. Thus I shall spare the details. Hahhaha..actually I'm just lazy to type le. See photos can le lah=).
