Finally I have the urge to blog again. I’m too excited about my Hong Kong trip that I couldn’t sleep even I’m sooo tired @ 2am yesterday. Flashes of my Hong Kong trip kept replaying in my mind thus I have made up my mind to blog today. I’ve changed a new look for my blog and wanna thanks Zy for helping me to fix my coding. According to him there’s a lot of errors =/ Xie xie Zy ^^/~

For those who don't know, I went to Hong Kong for these past 4 days. Together with Xin and Chester, we started our voyage on a ‘romantic’ day 7th July (it’s a special day in lunar calendar) early in the morning @ 7am. It’s really nice of Xin’s sister to give us a ride to the airport early in the morning on a working day. Thanks to Xin’s sister too ^^

On the flight to Hong Kong there’s an irritating uncle sitting right in front of me. He loves to adjust his seat to and fro and it’s kinda annoying. The most annoying part is he pulled his seat soooo low that it made me my space more cramp and it’s kinda hard for me to get out of my seat when I wanna go toilet. For heaven’s sake, please spare a thought for those people sitting behind you. It doesn’t affect you doesn’t mean that it doesn’t affect others -.- I watched Failure to Launch on board and I find it quite nice. Kinda funny too.

After dumping our luggage at hotel, we went to hunt for a restaurant which I’m dying to eat since my last Hong Kong trip—Curry A La King. The curry is fantastic! Xin xin ordered a Curry Udon, Chester a Curry Prawn and me a Pakistan Curry. Mine is extreme hot but tasty, Xin’s one is kinda unique, not something you have eat before and Chester’s one is super nice~~~Big prawns with spicy sweet curry. Yummy~~ I just love it!

Basically we spent a lot of time shopping in Mongkok. Picked some really good deals at Ladies’ Street (considered good at that moment but later we discovered we can get it at better rates at Fa Yuen Street), Fa Yuen Street, Aylre Centre (not sure of the spelling =X), Allied Centre etc. I don’t really like the latter cos the stuff there is more expensive. Most denims skirts and pants and tops and blouses I bought are less than SGD 15. Some are even less than $10. Really shop till you drop and pok.

We also went to Sha Tian whereby tourists usually don’t go but DON’T give it a miss. We went to New Town Plaza over there and most sports stuff over there is even cheaper than those of Fa Yuen Street. Due to time constraint, we didn’t even manage to cover 1/4 of the plaza, despite we spent more than 5hours over there. I got a Roxy bag which I like it soo much and 2 pairs of Roxy slippers. Roxy’s and Quiksliver’s slippers are less than SGD20 (for simple design) which personally I think is dam cheap. I met Xinxin’s Hongkong friends too. They are really nice and even gave us a welcoming treat at a Chinese restaurant. Dim sum is very nice over there too.

We also went to Lantau Island to visit the Buddha. Although I’m not that religious, it’s an interesting place to visit. Sceneries are good and it’s so amazing that we travelled that far up to the mountain. Really =_-!!!

We watched World Cup Final in the hotel too but I only watched 3/4 of it before I fell asleep. But still, I better than Xin cos I think she only watched 1/10 of the match. Kekeke…

On the whole, it’s definitely a satisfying and enjoyable trip. Hereby I wanna thanks Xinxin and Chester as they are really good travel and shopping companions ^^/ Cheers to our good harvest XD.
