Hohoho...... Happy Birthday Singapore~~~~ !!! It's definitely a day which Singaporeans will feel "Hey...I really love my country!" One thing I love about National Day is the national day songs. "Count on me Singapore", "We are Singapore", " Stand up Singapore" etc are songs that we learnt since we are kids and it really bring back alot alot of memories. Fond memories....

Another thing good about National day is when National day is nearing, there is the Singapore Fireworks Festival. Bing Bing Bang~~~it's really beautiful. And guess what? I did something dumb yesterday. Went out with Bryan yesterday to give him a treat for his birthday. Initally we agreed to meet at Orchard then I realised that there's fireworks display too...at the very same day. Thus I decided to change the venue so we can have dinner and go to see fireworks after that. Well, it's a bad move >"<.

City Hall is dam flooded yesterday. People mountain people sea. I expect there will be many people there but not that many. I'm stunned =/ At 7.30pm, the bridge near Fullerton was already flooded and it's still early, at that time. Guess it's one of the traits of Singaporean-KIASU! Buay tahan T.T Thus, we were walking in circles, up and down, trying to find a restaurant that is available. However, even KFC and Jollibean have long queues...not to mention restaurants. In the end, we gave up and decided to grab something at Giants and wait for the fireworks. But....there's nothing for us to grab at Giants. Sigh...then we found Waraku, a Japanese Restaurant at 8.30pm. So it's either fireworks or dinner. So I chose dinner loh and I think Bryan wanna strangle me. Cos from the very start I make a decison like this, we won't be wasting sooo much time walking around. Hahahhaa =X

After dinner, its home sweet home time. Again. it's dam flooded. As we were walking down City Link, some security guards showed us another way to MRT. And people, don't be so adventurous next time. We were conned to climb up 4-5 flights of stair and in the end, we ended up above, in a open air land. Then my friend said " Ah neh's words cannot be trusted" -__-!!

Really a doink day! So much work and no fireworks T.T
