Watched this movie two days ago and I decided to blog on it since it's a good movie. "Be with You" is a Japanese movie which hit the big screen in 2004 in Japan. I don't think it is air in Singapore before. However, this is an old movie and you can get it from the stores. Should you get it? Or at least rent it?? You should! It's a very nice and moving movie.
As a typical Japanese film, it's a peaceful movie with nice scenery and slow moving pace storyline. It's just like Brokeback Mountain, peaceful with not much significant climax (just my personal views =X) and yet, it’s way more touching than Brokeback Mountain. Hmm… Seng and maybe Cin find Brokeback Mountain super touching but to me, I don’t feel anything =X The reason being is that I don’t find the two main leads very much in love, at least I don’t feel so loh. I think a good romance movie should have leads falling head over heels for each other and the audience can feel the love between them. Errmmm… Brokeback Mountain considered as a romance flick??
