I have been feeling very pek chet (irritated) at work lately. 2 of my colleagues have resigned and we are in the midst of recruiting new staff. It's pretty tough to find good candidates as most people would prefer a 5-day work job. Hence I have been calling up job applicants to arrange interviews and I just can't stand some people. The most hated type is "Can you email/sms your company's address??" Of course CANNOT lah!!!!! If you ain't sincere to even take now the address of the company that you are going for interview, you might as well don't come at all!! Furthermore my company address is freaking short - X Tuas Ave XX. Sigh....
Anyway we asked someone down to try out the job first and sadly, we asked her to leave today. She was here for 4 days and we find out she's really not suitable for the job. During these 4 days, my workload increased tremendously. I have to teach and help her, and covered majority of her job scope as she's still green. Even Xin said I'm too busy to entertain her in msn lately. LoL~
Anyway it's sad to see someone being asked to leave =( but it's just too bad=X. I just hope we can find someone good soon.
Besides this matter that irritated me, my school work is a bore too X(. Other than those which are super long-winded kind (which require alot of writing), there are a lot of questions I don't know how to do. It's depressing T.T And apparently, I have so much homework to do that I must do a little each day. If not I have to spend hours during weekend to do =/. Sian.....
Enough of complaints le....shall talk about happier stuff =).
My family celebrated my ah ma's birthday last Sunday. We went to 'lao di fang' (it's because 99% of family dinners are held there) again.

This is a famous dish wor...it's "Buddha jumps over the wall" and it's super expensive wor. I went to the washroom while they are serving this and when I'm back my uncle called out to me "Whatever you don't want put in my bowl!!!" Doinkness but he knows me well lah. All ingredients are transferred to him and I drank the soup only. Hahaha...but in the end I also got eat tio some ingredients (like meat, scallops and sharkfin)lah. Xinxin don't K me cos I know you are a shark-lover but I only ate a tiny bit only. I swear!!=X
Last main dish-Crabs. This I never eat because firstly I'm full and secondly, I'm not good at eating crabs. So I gave a pass at these.
I only took photos of these dishes because I saw my cousins snapping. The rest they never snap so I'm paiseh to shoot. Hahaha.....

My boss went to Japan recently and of course he has brought souvenirs for us!!!

As usual, the Japaneses have very pretty and nice packaging for their stuff. However, the thing inside is even cute!!!
A white rabbit and
pink rabbit. Adorable right?? Too cute to be eaten but well..I ate them already. I'm a sinner :XX.
It's actually marshmallows shaped like rabbits with a bean paste filling. Super cute hor??? Keke....
